Data Execution Prevention Settings

  1. Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Performance Options or Settings > Data Execution Prevention.
  2. This should stay in the top button and not button two.
  3. You will have to reboot when the setting is fixed.
  4. I have only seen this used on a “server”. I used once upon a time.  I have never used in on laptops.
