Importing Notes from Press Room App into a Tournament Report

Users now can make notes in the RinkNet Press Room App and import them into a tournament report.  This will allow users to make notes on multiple games in a tournament and import them all at once into a single tournament report.  Notes on the same player in multiple games in the tournament will be consolidated for that player in the tournament report.

This functionality is available using the Import Press Room Player Notes button in RinkNet Online.

Users can take notes in the Press Room App like they would for a regular game report.  When ready to import, go to RinkNet Online and click on the ‘Import Press Room Player Notes’ button in the tournament report.  This will automatically check off any players with Press Room notes in games in that tournament.

 

If the tournament report has already been started, users can find this button when clicking on the tournament in Enter Reports.  Otherwise, users can start their tournament report in RinkNet Online using the below steps.

Starting a Tournament Report in RinkNet Online

​Click on Tournament/Playoff Planner under the Schedules menu.

 

In the Tournament/Playoff Planner screen, find the tournament to report on.

After clicking on the tournament you wish to report on, click the start tournament report button in the top right corner of the screen.
