To Check if Windows Security had deleted your program icon:
  1. Go to Windows Security > Virus and threat protection > Protection History.  If the program is flagged then you can come here to restore it by clicking the "Actions" drop down menu and restoring.
  2.      
  3. It is possible you have virus and threat protection settings on.  Here you can go Virus and Threat Protection Settings > Manage Settings > Exclusions. and exclude the app or folder.
